formally named Ostracion meleagris belongs to the genus Ostracion a member of the boxfish family.

endemic to the Mediterranean Sea and grows up to 15 cm in mantle length with the long arms exceeding 1 meter.

This beauty is another pest. The caterpillar of Mullein Moth Cucullia verbasci is the most commonly encountered
part of the life cycle, clearly visible as it feeds on leaves of its host plants.

The pretty Spotted Cucumber Beetle is beautiful but it is considered a major agricultural pest insect because in
the adult form it eats and damages leaves of many crops like cotton, beans, soybeans cucumber and many
others. In the larval form, which is known as the southern corn rootworm, it tunnels through the roots of young
plants, stunting or killing them.
Asian Lady Beetle (Harmonia axyridis)
This colorful and attractive beetle which is native to Asia has been introduced to North America and Europe to
control aphids and scale insects. It is now common, well known and spreading in those regions. It is commonly
known as Asian Lady Beetle in North America, and Harlequin Ladybird in the UK. It is also known as the
Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle and Halloween Lady Beetle.
Harlequin Sweetlips (Plectorhinchus chaetodonoides)
The lovely Harlequin Sweetlips of Indo-West Pacific oceans can reach a length of up to 72 cm. Juveniles are
brown with large white blotches and mimic the movement of a poisonous flatworm for defense against predators.
They gain more spots and the spots reverse from white to black as they age.
White-spotted Jellyfish (Phyllorhiza punctata)
The captivating Phyllorhiza punctata which is native to the southern Pacific is also known as the Australian
Spotted Jellyfish or the White-Spotted Jellyfish. It primarily feeds on various snail species.
Spotted Eagle Ray (Aetobatus narinari)
The lovely-looking Spotted Eagle Ray or Bonnet Ray can be found globally in tropical regions. It can be identified
by its numerous white ringed spots on its blue dorsal surface, white ventral surface, long, whip-like tail, and
distinctive head that somewhat resembles a bill.
Blue Spotted Stingray (Neotrygon kuhlii)
The Bluespotted Stingray or Kuhl’s Stingray is light green with blue spots with disk width hovers around 67 cm. It
is also popular in the aquaria.
Great Grey Slug (Limax maximus)
Well, even slugs can be spotted. The Great Grey Slug is one of the largest kinds of keeled air-breathing land slug
in the world. This slug is notable for its dark-spotted pale-grey body and the short keel on its tail. This nocturnal
animal can grow to as long as 8 inches or 20 cm. Limax maximus is also known as the Tiger Slug or the Spotted
Leopard Slug,
Spotted Salamander (Ambystoma maculatum)
The main color of the unique Spotted Salamander of US and Canada which is about 6-7 1/2 inches is black but
can sometimes be blue-black, dark gray or even dark brown. There are two rows of yellow/orange spots that run
from the top of the head (near the eyes) to the tip of the tail.
Red Spotted Toad (Bufo punctatus)
The unique Red-spotted Toad has a whitish or buff venter with or without faint dark spotting and the undersides
of its feet is yellow. The male Red-spotted Toad has a dusky throat and develops nuptial pads during the
breeding season.
Spotted Turtle (Clemmys guttata)
The beautiful Spotted Turtle ranges in color from black to a bluish black with a number of yellow tiny round spots.
Spotted Turtles inhabit a variety of shallow, fresh-water areas such as flooded forests, marshes, wet meadows,
bogs and woodland streams in the US and Canada.

Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa)
The unique and medium-sized Clouded Leopard of Southeast Asia has a tan or tawny coat, and is distinctively
marked with large, irregularly-shaped, dark-edged ellipses which are said to be shaped like clouds.

The carnivorous Spotted Quoll is a marsupial that can be found in Australia. The species name, maculatus,
indicates that this animal is spotted. This species is also known as the Tiger Quoll, Spotted-tail Quoll, the Spotted-
tailed Dasyure and the Tiger Cat.

Chital (Axis axis)
The Chital of Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and India is the most common deer species in Indian forests. Its
antlers curve in a lyre shape and may extend to 75 cm or 2.5 ft. Lifespan is around 20-30 years. It is also known
as Cheetal, Chital Deer, Spotted Deer or Axis Deer.

Leopard is undoubtedly one of the most popular and handsome animals in the world. The population of this
animal has decreased radically over time due to hunting and loss of habitat.
Jaguar (Panthera onca)
The Panther is definitely one of the handsomest feline in the world. This large cat is the only Panthera species
found in the Americas and is the world’s 3rd largest feline after the tiger and the lion. In the western hemisphere, it
is the largest and most powerful feline.
